First couple of studies and sketches of the new year, themed around one of my favorite films: Ridley Scott's 1979 classic, "Alien".
I had been wanting to do a portrait of the great character actor Harry Dean Stanton, and with the new year I figured this was the time for a character study.
Finally, was a new more stylized study of Sigourney Weaver as Ellen Ripley. You can see more details on these illustrations on my personal website.
